Do you get charged for blowouts?

Hey I just came from the Dominican salon and I asked her to blow out my hair (my poor hair!!!). Anyway, when I was done, they charged me $3 for the blow out. I've never been to a salon that charged for blowouts. It was either a blowout, a wrap, or comb and walk out. Is this a new thing (its been a while since I've gotten a wash and set) or is this exclusive to this salon?

Nope its not new Daviine, actually most places I've been to charge an extra $3 for a blow out.

I've never had to pay extra for a blowout. It's always assumed (at the three that I go to) that you want a blowout. If you want a wrap or comb out, they actually charge you $3 less!

they charge me an extra $5. but it's worth it.

depending on the condition of my hair will determine if the will charge for a blow out. Where I go if u need a lil touch up they will do it for free, which is cool, because after I get the rollers out I realize that I do need a perm, but I just give a nice lil tip
