do you ever change your mind about products??

i boutgh this Cant Shea soft strengthening treatment, and i was using it on my ends, and although the smell was divine, i found to be quite drying on my hair....well, as my supply got low, i decided to add some things...i mixed in some coco oil and s curl no drip and stirred it up with a chopstick, and now i have the BEST moisturizer my ends have ever seen!!! better than EQP mango butter!

has anyone ever had a change of heart about a product after doctoring it up a bit?? and if so, please share what you added and why it was so fabulous!

I've felt that way about ElastaQp Mango butter when I first started using it. It was a bit drying for my hair, but I just didn't want to it let go because I loved the smell. I also didn't want to believe that it could be so drying. At the suggestion of others, I added some EVOO and it works just fine now. It's very moisturizing and keeps my hair soft and smelling good.
