I used to but not lately. I liked her vid. and I watched a few of her others. Is she a member here?

I don't know if she's a member.

Did you like the way your hair came out when you crossed wrapped? How does it compare to regular wrapping?

It came out nicely, maybe not with the same lift & volume as regular wrapping--that's just my experience. Later, I learned to put rollers in the ends for an hour or so and then cross wrap then it would come out really pretty.

I've been doing it for alittle while even when I wasn't sure if I was doing it right... The regular way of wrapping just seemed like there was too much tension on the hair which it was compared to this one... There is less manipulation and I'd consider this way of wrapping to be more protective.

I do it nightly. I put a couple of big pin curls in front and cross wrap the back. Love it!

I do every night. When I came to LHCF I was desperate for a way to protect my ends at night and keep them smooth. Cross wrapping was the answer for me.

:lachen: What do you mean "out of place"? :lachen: I kinda think mine looked very much in place.

It doesnt have that smooth, nice bend that the regular wrap does. Instead the bend is ugly and L shaped. Not a good look. My hair would stick out.

Really? Maybe I do it different from all of you, but I don't understand why the bend should be L shaped when the hair's going around a circular head. I preferred the cross wrap to the regular because sometimes the regular would have the hair on one side doing a flip while that on the other side did an inward curve. With the cross-wrap, the hair on either side curves in a direction that mirrors the other side so I get an inward curve both sides.

That makes sense.

Thats exactly how I do it and it still comes out *****. When I wrap, I use a big shower comb followed by a paddle boar brisle brush and I have smooth pretty hair with no parts sticking up.

I don't like the way my hair looks when I regular wrap it and I can tell a lot of the time when other people do too. I love the cross wrap! It's quick and easy and gentle on my hair.

Okay, I just tried to watch the video and no I don't do all of that. I put a little shea/glycerin on my ends, loosely split my hair in the back, wrap the right side to the left, the left to the right, put on a silk scarf, and pull out the pins.

There is another tutorial that is much simpler. I'll try to find it.

She does a modified, simpler version once she's done with the first one.
