What I want to know exactly is this:

1. What product (from the below lines) you actually use?
2. Is it hard to find (ie. only online, have to travel)?
3. What you like/dislike about said products?

TIA

Salerm 21 I use, not really hard to find as I can always order it from Metrobeauty, or simply drive down. (Great)

Kenra MC - not hard to find, (Great)

Biosilk Silk Therapy - easy to find (Good)

Dudley's - wont be purchasing again as I don't really like anything from the line

The only products listed that I use are:

**Kenra Intensive Emollient Treatment: very easy to find in most salons. I find it very pricy even for me (I use mostly nexxus products). It is an excellent moisturizer, almost as good as my beloved humectress. I probably won't repurchase because humectress gives same results at much better price.

**Affirm: I use the Affirm lye mild relaxer at the salon. Absolutely LOVE it. Never tried to purchase.

I receive my Affirm relaxer at the JC Penney salon in my area. So, not hard to find.

I purchase my Kenra products at Trade Secret, so not hard to find.

I like the Affirm because it has been a gentle yet effective relaxer for my hair.

I like the Kenra product line because my hair has responded the most positively to them. They leave my hair moisturized and manageable.

I love Salerm 21 leave in for airdrying it great.
Salerm Wheat Germ mask provides great slip even more slip when used with the leave in. - Order on line.

Nacidit Olive Oil and Avocado conditioner work really well on my hair leave it very moisturized. Order on line.
Rysell Coconut Treatment is great for deep conditioning leave my hair moisterized.
Crom Emergencia I use after relaxing my hair give good slip.

Kendra MC Conditioner is a favorite especially for co washes. I would have to drive 50 miles to purchase.
Surge is great love I had all my favorites BSS stock it.

Dudleys DRC 28 is my favorite product from the line
The best protein conditioner and most effective I have ever used.-Kind Hard to Purchase- Have family in NY ship to me.
Dudleys Hair rebuilder I like also.- Purchase at any salon.

The only product line on that list that I use are Kerastase products.
Yes, they are difficult to find. They are only in upscale salons or online vendors. I order mine online.
The 2 downsides to the products are the price(very expensive, especially after you factor in S&H)and they have a very perfumey smell that I don't particularly care for. However the upside to Kerastase products are that they made my hair feel like silk from the first second the shampoo touched my hair and the conditioner detangles like a dream. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been in my life and these products are a big part of that. Unless this for some reason stops working, I will never use anything else.

Hey MizAvalon..what Kerastase products do you use? I'm dying to try that Bain Satin stuff.. I just have the Masq. deep conditioner and some serum.. can't remember the name off-hand..but it comes in that orange colored bottle..

Kenra - I have to drive into Savannah (Trade Secret) to get it. i love it. point blank.
Surge - super easy to find, no problem. i like that it keeps my edges intact, i hate that it makes my hair puffy.

<ul type="square"> [*]Kerastase Masquintense ~ love it, love it, love it ~hard to find, not worth the price w/S&amp;H

[*]Kenra - KIE - loved the slip it gave my hair, esp. when mixed w/Elucence Emergency Moisture Repair Treatment and Kenra MC.

Dislikes: price! and it never seems to be on sale, either...even when all the other Kenra products are...besides, I found that Motions Moisture Plus (thanks, Supergirl!) works just as well for slip

[*]Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner ~ love it mixed with honey; no dislikes

[*]Biosilk ~ leave-in made my hair glossy, easy to find; like NTM glosser better at the moment

[*]Affirm LYE Relaxer (Mild) ~ works for my hair, not hard to find, no complaints

[*]Dudley's Relaxer ~
down.gif
current stylists CLAIMS she's using LYE...but my hair is just as dry as if she'd put a no-lye on it...and it's straightened enough to ruin the coil pattern yet too bent to be straight or even wavy...solution? hunting (again) for another stylist...&lt;sigh&gt; ... but I digress; Dudley's on my hair has forced me to spend A LOT more money on moisturizers and conditioners because of this texture limbo.

never again.

[*]I've returned to my TRIED-AND-TRUE Aubrey Organics! I should have never strayed...I'd take AO any day over any of the others! [/list]

Some things I put No to, not because I dislike them, just because I don't know because I haven't used them. Biosilk, Dudley's, and Kerastase. Kiehl's products are hard to find. It was easy when I lived in Philly, but not anymore /images/graemlins/frown.gif. Surge I like because of increased growth, and the others because of added moisture and/or making my hair feel softer. HTH, and good luck with the store!

SALERM: used Salerm for a long time before I started using Rusk Smoother....I have a huge bottle of Rusk so I won't be switching any time soon.

ALTEREGO: Well, you know I use this one..for a long time. I'll have to restock when I'm done with SURGE, Garlic treat, ent is in my routine these days

DOMINICAN PROD.: absolutely, love 10 en 1..., Nadicit, Torque Magic,

Carol's D.: When I wash and go I love them, but on a rollerset I find that they are too heavy for me
AFFIRM: Definietely, relaxer for sensitive scalp ......@ salon

others ..I really never used and didn''t know much about them
Opps YEAH

BIOSILK: used it didn't like to much...the spray gloss not impressive and I have two other prod. in my drawer...( apparently wasn't feel that either)

Keihls': Used the leave in years ago and I really didn't like it...I got no slip and it felt like it just sat on top of my hair..... didn't work for me
