Hey ladies,
I hear a lot of you talking about the vitamins you take but rarely hear about GNC and I was wondering are they as effective?

Thanks,
Sweetie :

Hi Sweetie! GNC Ultranourishair never did anything for me. I think I bought two or three bottles and took them all, and never noticed a diference. Other posters have had good results with them, so hopefully they'll post their experiences.

I took GNC ultranourishair for a month and liked it. I didn't get spectacular growth ... but I got more than I usually do in winter. I went from about half an inch to an inch/ 2 months. Then I switched to Country life Maxi-Hair. I didn't see that big of a difference despite all of the extra stuff in the country life.... Soooooo I am back on Ultranourishair for a little while. If I don't see the same/similar results....then I'll try something else.

I also take the EFA they sell... I'm not vitamin guru... but it seems to be ok.

J.

The UltraNourishair and the Hair, Skin, and Nails didn't do a thing for my hair. My skin broke out but the only thing both of the supplements did was help with nail growth.

HTH~

Same here...the GNC Ultranourishair didn't do anything for my hair, but it did help my nails ALOT! I'm using the Hair, Skin, and Nails formula now too, but it's too soon to tell if they're making a difference or not. When I do my next touch up I'll let you know if it's helping my hair.

I use the Super biotin(2 a day) and the MSM and PAntothenic Acid. Seems to work just fine. Try the individual vits instead of the Nourishair.

I used one bottle of Ultra Nourish Hair and didn't notice a difference anywhere (not in my hair, nails, or overall health). I'm much better off using a good multi vitamin (Solgar) plus additional individual vitamins (PP Biotin, PP B-Complex, MSM powder), but different things work for different people.

Like Miss Brown, I use PP Biotin and PP B-Complex, as well as PP Amino Acid Complex. I started to notice more new growth than usual with that combination.

I just want everyone to know that due to all of the people on the board who say that they take the GNC Ultra Nourishair and Women's Ultra Mega, I felt compelled to go out and purchase them.

I am on my way to longer and healthier hair (I hope)!

Thanks for the wealth of information that you ladies supply on a daily basis! Everyone enjoy your weekend!!! Ta-Ta....

I love the ultranourish hair from GNC. It made my hair so thick and strong. I took their biotin and started getting an inch a month (4200mcg). I'm switching over to PP biotin because their prices are better and I hear great reviews.

I'VE BEEN TAKING GNC ULTRA NOURISHAIR AND
ULTRA MEGA FOR 2 MONTHS AND I BELIEVE I SEE A DIFFERENCE. MY HAIR SEEMS TO BE MORE "ALIVE!" I'M NOT SURE WHETHER OR NOT THE ULTRANOURISHAIR OR
ULTRA MEGA IS THE MAIN REASON WHY MY HAIR FEELS THIS WAY, OR IF MY OVERALL HAIR REGIMEN; ALONG WITH INDIVIDUAL SUPLLEMENTS (B-COMPLEX, EVENING PRIMROSE, CODLIVER OIL, VIT. E) HAS CAUSED MY HAIR TO GAIN THIS NEW "FEELING!"

I'M CONSIDERING TAKING SOLGAR AND PURITAN PRIDE PRODUCTS. I'VE READ SOME GOOD THINGS ABOUT THESE BRANDS.

I read a consumer vitamin study and they said that GNC supplements have more fillers than other brands.

Thanks,

not for me, i started just taking my biotin, msm, pantothenic acid and primerose oil seperate. but Nioxin's recharging complex worked for me. I first noticed my nails growing faster, then my skin felt smoother and my hair grew faster.....it's worth a try I really was pleased.

I started out taking UltraNourishhair consistently. I haven't taken it now in over a month, however I'm still seeing excellent results without it....i'm keeping it as a back up

Where did you read the study? Will you post a link please?

It was a long while ago. I stopped buying GNC though because of the study.
