Do the asians let you try on lace wigs?(rant)

Ok I'm like a HAIR FREAK and a LACE WIG FREAK! so every asian hair store I go to now I look at Lacewigs. . . They are all so nice about selling them . . .to a certain extent ya mean. . I have been looking for a real long one so Today I went to the asian hair store in the mall. I spent sooo much money there in the past and she knows it. I ask if I can try on a wig she say no. I figure she cant understand so I say heres my dollar for a cap can I try this on. She says no we dont let you try on lace wigs.


Hold up. every other asian store lets me try on lace wigs including one in the other mall (the hair store in the other mall is owned by the same people).

I explain to the lady the one in the other mall let me try on this one and they were so nice.she still say no. then I explain that I worked in an asian owned hair store for two years and the whole purpose of putting wigs on display is so potential buyers can make sure its the style the want so they wont have to open new packages (Espically since wigs are non returnable) And I say well if I dont like it im bringing it back cause you shoulda let me try it on.

AND then she gone talk about some If I let you try it on do you promise you gone buy it. I just leave and say its cool. how she gone try to play me like im broke doe. What she must think im one a da gurls that that come in just to so ooo I look pretty wit long hair and leave sweetie I have on a wig that i purchased from your other store.

Do yall think im extra sensitive for that?

My point is that I was a serious customer. . . and I give them business all the time I purchase wigs from her. From working at a hair store we do have people playing around knowing they wont purchase anything so we have rules like only try on three wigs for cap. But I wasnt there for play or anything . . . she done pissed me off like.

Girl I drop BSS all the time for having ignorant workers. There are at least two in my area that I will drive past to go another store on the other side of town.
If the lady knows that you are a frequent customer and often spend money there she should have been reasonable enough to let you try the wig on with a stocking cap. The BSS that I go to lets you try on the lace front wigs style them and everything as long as you pay .50 cents for a cap. I wouldn't spend my hard earned money there anymore until she improved her customer service skills. In these difficult times store owners should definitely think of what the customer wants ( that is within reason) and give it to them.

Well everyone has their own policies so use your pocketbook to punish them. It's their loss. There could have been a time where they let someone try on the lace wigs and something unfortunate happened as to why they changed their policies.

I would never buy a lace wig that I couldn't try on so the right thing to do is just not patronize the business.

Trust me, I understand your frustration.

I've never been in an asian bss that flat out refused to let people try on wigs. That's just insane. However I have been in some that have like a 3 wig limit (period), or ones that make you buy a $1 wig cap before you try on anything, or ones with both policies. Again, just don't purchase from them.
