Do-it-yourself Crochet Braids No Cornrows

I do a combination of individuals in the front perimeter and cornrows the rest. Individuals all over will look the most natural but very time consuming.
 
I do not believe it only took her 2 hours. She probably spent a minimum of 5 minutes per braid and that adds up to about 5 hours for 60 braids. I just did this on my daughter's hair and it took about 7 hours over 2 days. Once you attach the braid to the plait, it takes forever to crochet the plait into the braid. I will never do this again. The next time, I will gladly pay someone $70 to do regular box braids.
