hey ladies! i was just wondering if i kept my same regmine do i have to moisture and seal? i mean i honestly dont feel like it lol. ill still cowash and oil my scalp and wash every week and DC and all that jazz, does M&S REALLY make a difference??

I think it depends on the head. Some heads hold on to moisture really well, so daily M&S is not necessary.

But, IMO, moisture is an absolutely vital component of retaining length as it promotes elasticy and helps in preventing breakage. As long as you can supplement moisture in another way (besides the m&S) and it your hair is actually holding on to it, then you should be fine ;)

It depends on what you're trying to do. If I do a wash and go then I definitely need to seal in some moisture. If I rollerset and my hair is straight I find that applying oil or some shea butter to the ends has helped retain length and keep the split ends away.

You just need to pay attention to what your hair needs.

When I first started on my healthy hair journey, my hair needed daily moisture because it was dry and damaged and at that time I had not discovered how to keep the moisture in my strands.

Now my techniques have improved and my hair is a lot healthier so at this point the only moisture I need is from the weekly wash/DC/PC routine.

My hair did fine before I knew what sealing was and when I only sealed my ends for buns. I'm pretty heavy handed so sealing gives me greasy/oily hair so now I just spritz once or twice a day with leave-in and my hair stays moisturized.
