Okay, so I have tried to do flexirods about 6 years ago and they came out AWFUL and soggy and I had to go to work/class looking ONE HOT MESS!
erplexed
I swore them off and never used them again. Well the other day I was looking around and stumbled across Ms. DLewis herself, and this BEAUTIFUL flexirod set she created. THEN she had the BEST TUTORIAL EVA on how to do them yourself. It was so beautiful and I became so inspired, so I told myself to give it one more try and I went home and immediately pulled out all my supplies...
I was so discouraged when I tried twice back in 2003 and I was soooo nervous while rolling and spraying and combing and waiting under that HOT DRYER ( i need a soft bonnet
)and they came out actually FORMED into a SPIRAL!
They may not be up to your standards, but DLewis, you helped me SOOOOO much with that! I jus lub you so much!!!
I think they came out good. Shiny and bouncy and soft... I'm about to post the pics of my hair 4 days later...below this post...
What I need help with now...I can't figure out how I'm supposed to sleep with this hair bonnet on. When I lay down, they get smushed (the curls) while inside the satin bonnet, so my curls don't last as long as they probably could. All in all, I am very pleased... This is what they looked like before I divided them up...
