I used to go to the salon every week, sometimes twice a week because I am one of those ladies who just "Can't Get Right" (like on the movie LIFE) when it comes to doing my own hair. I just wonder if I am being impatient.

How long did it take for some of you to get a roller set to look right?

How long did it take for you not to have the bumpy bun?

I am sitting under the dryer now with another feeble attempt at a roller set, and I have a feeling it is going to look a hot mess again. Oh well. Just wondering.

Yep, I feel you on rollersetting. It took me months of stubborn, persistent trying to finally get rollersetting down. I'm now an expert! But it's one of those things where I had to practice, practice, practice, before getting it right. My first few attempts, I spent hours putting them in. I can now do that in about 15 minutes flat, and my hair is waay longer now then it was back then. Just keep plugging away at it, and each time will get better. :yep:

Never had problems with buns, tho. Got that down right away. . .

I took me years to master rollersetting. (of off and on trying) But when I got it, I got it.

I bun have always been fine.

I still cant do a flex rod set or braid out. But I'm working on those.

Just keep trying.:yep:
