DIY twist hold mixture:any ideas?

hi ladys, after reading several post i've decided to try and do kinky twist. i was wondering what type of product should i use to get them to stay in? anyone have any ideas?

I liked Garnier Soft curl creme and Smooth n shine curl activator for extra dry hair . When I was relaxed I liked Keracare setting creme. (Are you sure you need something for hold?)

i'm thinking of useing extentions and since my hair isn't relaxed i thought that i would need to use some type of gel to meld my hair to the marly hair. what do you guys think?

I'm wearing kinky twist extensions now and the braider didn't use anything to hold my hair and the twist together. The only thing she did was somehow curl the ends. I couldn't see her do this so I don't know exactly what technique she used but I know she didn't use any type of rollers.

Just remember if you use any type of gel, it's gonna attract dirt and oils which will contribute to matting at the scalp and you'll need to shampoo and remove and replace your braids more often.

when i was natural and wore them--i put aloe vera and grease on the extention hair and mine and they held perfectly.

that combo was the best of the several i tried. (shea, conditioner, olive oil, twist gel....)
