Dissolving Biotin in water and adding EVOO...

Has anyone used this in their leave in conditioner, or mixed it with oil and left it in their hair? Or do you have to wash it out? I'm thinking about adding it to my leave in conditioner.

I mix them with Surge and MTG and WGO

Oooh, what kind of results do you get?

I used that mixture everyday, for four weeks.... I only found out recently that you should use the MTG twice a week....... But as you can see I got some length out of it........ Now if I can retain it....

I used the Biotin shampoo this weekend. During the wash, I really didn't like the way my hair felt. It just didn't feel moisturizing enough, however upon comb out, my hair was very soft.

So I washed again to see if I would get the same results, though the second time I did an ACV rinse. It didn't feel as soft, but I attribute that to the ACV rinse (first time doing one).

I still don't get why it would feel drying during the wash, but soft during the comb out. I'm going to have to give it a few more tries before I make a final decision.

I added Biotin to my Eqyss Avocado Mist (basically a less protein- core Surge) with a couple essential oils and a dab of castor oil in an applicator bottle. Then I added some to a bottle of Elasta QP Penetrating Moisturizer and applied just a little of each and it stopped my shedding and breakage and eliminated my need of using Emergencee at the moment. My only concern would be build up on the scalp if you don't wash often. I used GNC 300 milligram pills,@ 15-20 in 5 oz of Eqyss and 20+ @ 10 oz of Penetrating Moisturizer. Remember the Biotin was weak though, 300 milligrams. It added alot of softness too.

Well, it makes sense. The Nutrition book I read says products with Biotin in them are good when applied to hair to help with hair loss, and to strengthen hair.

To those who want to use this in leave- ins, just wanted to let you know that although it dissolves the biotin will clog sprayers easily, so you might want to use less when using these types of bottles.

Thanks for bumping. I have J.A.S.O.N.'s Biotin/Pantothenic Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. I've used it once because I wasn't impressed, but maybe I should clarify and try it again. Sounds very interesting about adding Biotin to shampoos, conditioners and oils. I may take my remaining Biotin pills from Twin Lab and add them when I receive my Puritan Pride Biotins.

Very good idea!!

I was thinking of dissolving some Biotin into my oils or conditioners one time but I decided not to since I take it daily and I use the Hair2Heaven Growth oil that has biotin in it. I would still like to try this.
Anyone done this lately?

Hmmm, I am going to give this a try today. I think I'll add it to Aussie Moist Conditioner.

I tried it and it seems like I did NOT lose as much hair as I normally do. I think I should use more biotin next time though.

I have started adding the Biotin 5000 to my conditioners (Deep conditioning)because I do not want to deal with the breakouts. I was not getting them with the previous ones I was using. My hair definitely had a different texture after. Like stronger. Bonjour.

Wow! You ladies are something. Trying this cause I can no longer stand the breakouts. Do you add one pill per conditioning treatment?

ETA: Nevermind. Thanks for answering Amarachi!
