Digital camera question

If I took pics and didn't download them, and my camera's batteries ran down, would the pics still be in the camera when I got new batteries put in?

They should be..you have a memory card/stick right?

Thanks. Yeah I should have one of those. There's only a few pics in there but I really want all of them.

yeah if the pics are stored in the memory card/stick they should still be there

yeah, definately. even if i didnt save my pics to the card they are still in the camera when i put the battery back in.
