Diff Relaxer and Diff Neutralizer

I'm gonna switch from Fiberguard to regular Affirm Cond. Creme relaxer. I still have a lot of Fiberguard Neutralizing shampoo, is it ok to just use that to neutralize with the creme cond. relaxer? Both are lye relaxers, but I will be upgrading to regular strength.

I think it should be ok,as long as the shampoo reduces the ph it should neutralise the relaxer.
