Did Profectiv change their formulas?

I just got a jar a breakfree I sent someone to buy for me, and it's not purple/pinkish as it usually is...it's almost white...did they change the formula or did i maybe just end up with a bad batch??? I think Im gonna try it on a small patch and see if there are any adverse effects

Is the consistency of the product any different? It sounds like you just might have gotten a bad batch.

Deeply, the consistency is a little different, its not as sticky...Poohbear, it doesnt have an expi date on it does it???
Damn these bad batches,isn't that what the slave labor they call factory work for...QUALITY CONTROL?!?!!??!?! What a waste of money..

I tried some on my hair, it made it ridiculously dry and hard...I wish I could get my money back but you know how those asian BSS are

Bad batch. I hate when that happens. Did it smell funny, like rancid oil, if so you got a bad batch, that happens with the Mega growth also. That is why I open it up and smell it in the store.

theres is another brand that just came out and the packaging is ridiculously(sp) as close to the profective range. does it actually say profective on the jar?

I saw the ads for both in a hair magazine and their is a sublte difference in the names of the too compoanies. One is Strength of Nature LLC I think and the other is not. Lemme see if I can find it.

Aaliyah, it is the same, no "fake" or diff formula, just bad, I'll get my money back or get a new jar, one way or another...

If there's a Walmart near you that carries them,take it there, they'll take just about anything (make sure you remove any price stickers of anything).
It's damaged out, so it's not like you're stealing from Walmart, just get a replacement.

Hey I posted about there inferior profective products sometime back. The one that replaces breakfree is a better moisturizer to me rather than leave in -I get some slip with the breakfree.

Why do companies do this?
By the way the tubs are MUCH smller too

Now I checked a current magazine and the Profective ad says Strength of Nature, LLC and the ohter ad says Strength of Nature Co.
