In an attempt to texlax, I added castor oil to my relaxer, but I have so much relaxer left over. Can I keep it or should I garbage it since I added oil?
TIA

if its a lye relaxer you can keep it you just have to make sure that the container is closed tightely and its kept in a cool dark place and make sure there is no hair in the relaxer.

if its a no-lye relaxer then you have to throw it out.

I use No-lye and if i have some left over(which i always do) I take it and freeze in the ridge. Then when I'm ready for it again I just let it sit out for a while...The longest I let my relaxer in the ridge was about 4 mos. It still worked the same nothing different. Plus I'm really cheap so I won't be wasting any Mizani that cost $11.99.:nono::yep:....

I've never heard of that but if it works for you. . . :yep:

I co sign the no lye relaxer in the fridge thing. We do it @ my house all the time. Esp with the hawaiian silky; me, my gram, and my mom all use it. We keep it in there for a few weeks at a time.
