I am trying to get to New York for an audition, but I don't have the money for an airline ticket, I am considering picking up my friend in St. Louis and driving. But I know my dad would have a cow!!!

Girl, for the price of gas, tolls and all of that, you might be better off flying. I was able to use Orbitz to book my sister's ticket for about $198 roundtrip. You should probably try internet sites....
