Did anybody else see this on the Miss Jessie's website?

The free samples of the new products if you order by Monday. I saw it before and decided to place an order but I didn't realize that you get a sample of BOTH products until I was actually on the site paying. I thought you had to just choose one. Why is their shipping so dang high though? It can't cost $10 to send me one freaking jar.

You should try contacting one of the local distributors in this area. I believe the site said they are honoring the free sample offer also.

ETA: I love some Miss Jessie's so I called for you. Unfortunately the location closest (Laurel) to you does not have the free samples. However, the DC distributor does. Here's the info:

Portfolio Salon (U Street Corridor)
1351 U Street, NW
Washington D.C. 20009
202-234-2904

Sun & Mon (Closed)
Tues-Fri (9 - 6:30) Services
Tues-Fri (9 - 8:30) Retail
Sat (7- 2)

I just spoke with the owner he say's he well stocked.

I may go by and get something this weekend, have to check my budget first.

They sent me a reminder today, so I'm gonna go hunt some down tomorrow. Miss Jessies Curly Buttercreme is one of my staple prods and I've just run out so I hope I'm able to get the free samples. Folks are famous for promising something and then when you get there "oh, you just missed it!!" so we'll see.

That's not near me. It's at least an hour away. But thanks though. I just placed my order online. Have you ever had your hair done at Portfolio? If so, how was your experience?

ETA: Also, who's the distributor in Laurel?

OK good, you won't miss out on the promotion. :) I'm not that familiar with Baltimore but I figured a drive to Laurel would be quicker than driving all the way into the District. So I hoped the info would be helpful. Here's the Laurel info:

Essentials Beauty Salon
130 Washington Blvd.
Laurel, MD 20707
301-362-1800

Monday Closed
T-W 10-6p
Thurs 10-7
Fri 9-7
Sat 7-5

I think this distributor was just recently added. When I spoke w/the owner she said she had just received an email about the promo but had not received the new sample products. Maybe this location will be helpful to you in the future.
