Girl, I have him trained. Since I left the states, he has done all of my touch-ups and my hair is thriving! He does better than me, because I botched myself once (18 months ago) because I did not want to wait for him to come home. That was my only setback in my hair journey. I overlapped and I lost so much hair because I can't relax to save my life. He is my stylist for life!

I know dat's right!!!

He always wants to watch when I relax, so I think Imma git him more INVOLVED!!!!

My fiance is white and he is just learning about AA hair. Recently he has learned how to spot a weave (and now knows that white women wear weaves just as much as AA women) and he knows that some AA like myself need to keep our hair and scalp moisturized. So at night when I take out my hair products he always offers to "Grease my scalp" for me. And if I fall asleep without wrapping my hair he wakes me up and says "Baby dont you need to wrap it up." Its cute.
