I am so sorry that it is not working well for you.

((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

Do you have any pictures of it? So that we can see what the texture is like? That way we could come up with some ideas.

DTWgirl, did the texturizer make your curls release? Do have a curly enough texture to maybe do a wash and go? That is one option. If you decide to do that all you have to do next is choose whatever products you will use. Many of us who are texturized or curly use Beyond the Zone Noodlehead or some such product like it to provide moisture and make the curls stand out.

If you are into wearing your hair up, or in a bun, for style or protection you can use different accessories. You can also use phonyponies, or phonybuns.

If you like to wear it loose you can rollerset, twist, braidout, strawset, flexirod set, or Caruso rollerset.

If you like braids or cornrows that may work for you till you figure out what your next step will be.

I would not suggest being too hasty about doing a corrective relaxer after just having done a texturizer. Maybe try some of the options above and see if they work, then see if you still are not happy with the texture.

I hope some of this can help.

i used lady velvet and like the most of my hair is like straighter... i mean its all different textures. i would braid but i dont know how and stuff. and wuts fa buns and ponys cause my ng puffyish

You could def. do roller and rodsets. I love rods and I think that they are underused. The tension would even out the texture and give you pretty natural looking curls.

Like crlsweetie said, the flexirods would help even up the texture in that type set. The Caruso steam curlers do WONDERs will all sorts of textures. Are there any styles you have seen ladies on the board with that you think may work, or that you would like to try? If so pm them, do a shout out, heck ask me I'll do a search for you.

Are you able to use the search feature? I know that some have been having problems with it. There are SO many ladies here who can teach you different methods, DSD has a lot of tutorials in her Fotki, dLewis has a rollersetting tutorial in hers, Isis does the Caruso's to perfection. It is all at your fingertips, so please try not to be discouraged. YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

We will help you.

I known you can't corn roll, but if you can put your hair in platts and use a little moose or setting lotion, you could have a wonderfull braid out.
