I'm so excited because I finally found something to make detangling a breeze. I used Keracare Humecto (tub) mixed with Porosity Control. I only left it on about 10 minutes but the tangles melted away under the running water. I don't think it matters what conditioner you use as long as you mix it with the Porosity Control. I wish I would of did it sooner because I could have saved so much hair but oh well you live and learn.

YUP!!! Porosty control is like magic! I NEVER DC without it. Sometimes if I'm in a real rush, I'll just slap some on without a condish and there's still slip! Love it!

Roux and Revlon are the same company. I think Roux is the professional brand. I have the revlon one, but I don't think it matters which one you buy. But if you want to be sure, buy the Roux one I guess.

So Porosity Control is a conditioner? I see that a lot of women on here like it.

Porosity Control comes in a conditioner and shampoo. I use both. I'm glad I came across this thread because I was thinking about mixing PC with SE Megasilk moisturizing treatment. I haven't found anything that gives the slip I need for my super tangled hair. I hope this works.

I've used Porosity control but without the great results. I'm glad it's worked for you ladies though.

Did you mix it with conditioner? I remember my hairdresser used to mix porosity control with olive oil and my hair always came out nice. I tried it a while ago and hated it but I didn't mix olive oil with it so that could be why.
