I went natural with my BC experience which I loved, it was great, and 5 years later I'm still growing strong. I am currently at SL hoping for MBL and maybe even WL.
During the first 4 years since BC, I used Naturalaxer to texturize. Loved it, it's more like a DC which left all of my curl pattern intact, but softer and mroe manageable.
Here's a step-by-step application

I applied all over, with no parting or sectioning, I just slathered it on my hair like conditioner, left it on for 15 minutes and rinse out.
I switched to Forever Soft later, which yielded the desired results as well. I wanted something to soften but left the curl pattern ALONE....:swordfigh

The trouble is, although they both claim to be natural and non-chemical, and even my friend the beautician says they are nothing more than a good DC that doesn't have anything to relax, they both have THAT smell... smells like a chemical relaxer to me
erplexed. I want something pure and natural, leaves the hair soft, manageable, without straightening the curl pattern. I don't mind a little stretch, but nothing too much further cause I loves my curls. I flat-iron from time to time but mostly go for wash-n-wear look.
I saw a natural relaxer thread started in the children's haircare section that looks promising. Itz uses it on her daughter's hair...amazingly it's just three ingredients: coconut cream, coconut oil, and plain yogurt...wow, sounds yummy! I'm not good with hair recipes
, so does anyone know of any other ready-made natural relaxers out there... ?
