Derivative bath for grey hair

Hi ladies,

I'd like to know if any of of you have ever practiced "derivative bath". Its a kind of detox bath.
I began doing them 3 weeks ago, and now I can clearly see new vigourous baby black hair. And my hair was practicly all white.
I have been told that is one of the firs effects that can be seen while using these bathes.
Does anybody know about this ?

(excuse my poor english, but I wanted to share this with you)

I tried to google it and got nothing, what is it, and how do you do it?

I tried them a few years ago, and didn't have significant results. Till a friend tell how she does them :
We live in a very hot country, so put small bottles full of water to freeze. We keep them all the night long between thighs, wrapped in a towel. This give me a pleasant freshness....

thanks because i wasnt finding anything on google (which was strange) but maybe Im missing something. The articles still dont give enough info.

Ive heard of the sitz bath, my Mom said at the hospital after giving birth they made her do sitz baths while she was there.

I dunno what exactly it is other than that u sit i a tub of warm water and maybe salt was added. She said it was to help her heal.

My mum used to do this 'bain derivatif'.
Never heard people talking about it much in English.

Here is some info from Wiki:

http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Detox-Bath

I would cut and paste it but its full of pics.

That's intersting, but not a derivative bath, where only cold water is used. No other products. And it seems that what is important, is the difference of temperature between the body and the ice pack (or cold water). I don't do real "bath" because it takes too much time for me :look:

derivative bath is different from this because of the temperature of the water.
I try to find other english links...

I've done this for fitness purposes -ice bath- for recover, not detox. It was regular tap, though, not chlorine-free. Athletes do this all the time. There's a company who built an ice chamber that blows out cold air while you stand. The testimonials for recovery were amazing. It was like that Wanted wax

In one of the links the OP posted, the process was also called the "Kuhne bath." I googled that and came up with these links. I think this is what the OP is referring to.

Kuhne's friction sitz bath and hip baths both involved the patient sitting in a tub filled with relatively cold water (about 10—14°C for the friction bath in the original instructions, although slightly higher temperatures are preferred today) and rubbing the lower abdomen, hips, or genitals with a rough linen cloth. The resulting nerve stimulation by the cold water was supposed to help eliminate toxins. Immediately after the bath the patient is put to bed to warm him up again.

I practiced derivative bathing for almost 3 years, intermitently (Please excuse my English also, I am francophone): I would parctice it for 3, 4 or sometimes 6 months, with in between breaks of 1 to 2 months. This technique was inspired by Louis Kuhne who was a nathuropath, I believe earlier in the 20th century or late 19th was developped by France Guillain. She has a website where the technique is explained: bainderivatifs.com ( not sure if there is an english version).
In any case except from health benefits ( improved sleep, better mood, less fatigue, deep detox, very smooth skin) I never noticed any benefits on my hair.

Does is bother anyone else when people say, "Excuse my bad English," but there's nothing wrong with it? :look:

Lol, I say it too when speaking Spanish, even if I said everything correctly I'd still like to apologize in advance, in case I did mess something up

I apoligized for my English as I was not sure of the word intermitently, that I was translating from French..Lol !:drunk:

To Marino: My hair was aready 70% gray ( I was dying it), but I did not notice an increased amount of gray. I was rather looking forward to the reverse effect:lol:: what I have read in testimonies and what F. Guillain says, is that for certain people it can reverse the graying process. But I understand that one would have to practice for a very long time.
I have found that document on derivative bathing in my hard drive, I have had for a long time.

Trying to attach it for those who are interrested.

Thank you ! These experiences are really interesting...
Personnaly, I met France Guillain a few years ago, she came to Martinique.
Many of the women present at her conference spok about they hair turning black again.
But it si only now that Ican see it on myself, and other pleasant results.
