Remember we were talking about sore scalp last week? At my last wash I tried rinsing my scalp with ACV (1:1 mix) and I had a lot less irritation on my scalp this week. I used a dye applicator bottle to apply it to my scalp and it was brilliant. I'm washing again tonight...we'll see if it works again.

Hi Thursdaygirl i'm suprised i missed this thread yesterday, Yes i remeber we were reasonsing about the soreness i have been experiencing with my scalp. So you tried the ACV and its reduced the problem... great i really needed something...off to buy some ACV, i'll report back soon. Wish me luck

Hi Den1,
could you please clarify something for me? ACV is this the same as Cider Vinegar? I cannot find ACV in the UK and was wondering if the two are actually the same thing.

Thanks in advance,
Meech UK

I'm not Den, but it probably is. Its Apple Cider Vinegar....

To Den: Yes, the ACV rinse.. plus a little shea butter/Jojoba mix on the scalp...kept me from having problems last week. Yesterday I tried the ACV rinse and already, not as much tenderness.... I think the Shea butter helped bring the soreness level down to zero. Good Luck!

As thursdaygirl clarified ACV is the same as apple cider vinegar you can purchase it at any supermarket or health stores.

kinda... I just took a little hunk of it (I'm using unrefined) melted it in my hands by rubbing them together and poured a little jojoba in it mixed again by rubbing my hands together...and applied it to the places that I remembered were sore and a little itchy.

It helped me out, I hope it helps you too!

I don't know... you could try it... I just like jojoba...and was using it to thin the shea butter. I can't think of why olive oil wouldn't work... Try it and see :)
