This is the one I use for both my relaxed hair and my daughter's naturals.

I have to tell you that this brush is awesome. It doesn't snag or tear the hair and it makes combing my daughter's hair a breeze. I also have the K-Cutter and they serve different purposes. But both are now a necessity.

the paddle brush is the one all the naturals rave about on the boards for detangling.....by the time i bought one i just didnt have a need for it because of the K cutter , and for smoothing my hair down i use a regular ole nylon brush.

Armyqt does that brush work good for smoothing? it says on the site it does but it doesnt look like it would...cant get away from my nylon brush for that...even all the many boar brushes i bought didnt cut it like a good hard nylon brush....my daughter ended up with most of the boar brushes i bought over the years and they do smooth but most are soft and dont reach the scalp. i need to feel the brush touch my scalp lol

Irresistable, the D3 does an amazing job of smoothing the hair. I have always used a boar brush for me and my daughter and I'm sooooo glad I finally found a better alternative. I don't even need a comb to fix my hair into a ponytail anymore. And I love the feeling of that brush on my scalp

On my daughter's hair, I detangle with the K-Cutter, Comb with Jilbere shower comb and then brush with the D3. I never was able to get her hair that smooth immediately after washing. It would take about three days of moisturizing to get her hair to that point. Before I couldn't even take a regular comb and go through her hair on wash day. After using the D3 I can now. And to top it all off, it makes wonderful curl formations in her hair. Especially at the ends.
