I am starting to deep condition my hair now, and I was wondering what is the best kind to use. My hair is really soft and is what people call "white girl's hair." I have heard of olive oil, but I am really confused.

That's a difficult question to answer, because everyone's hair responds differently to various products. Also, each type of hair may require different types of conditioner. As an example, I have very dry hair, so I need super conditioning/moisturizing products.

Is your hair relaxed, texturized or natural? Have you determined what you think your hair type may be? Or, have you viewed photo albums of current members who seem to have the same type of hair? If your hair is like another members, her recommendations may assist you better than mine.

Check out the home page and click on the links for hair typing and features of the month. Also, as you read some of the threads, check on some of the members links in the signature area to view their albums. That's a good starting point help direct you more appropriately.

My type hair is 2A, like Ananda's from MTV. I have currently transitioned and the top part of my hair is wavy, but the bottom is still relaxed.
