Deep Conditioning Without A Cap.

Can you do that? It seems like it will only make hair drier. Thoughts?

This is the only way I DC now. I only do my hair in the shower now and while I could bring a cap in, I just don't want to look at it taking up space.

If your hair is drier, that's the DC itself, not the lack of the cap.

I also don’t DC with a cap anymore. I DC in the shower and let the steam do it’s thing. I can’t remember the last time I used my steamer. Too time consuming.

Exactly, me too or under my hooded dryer.

I use a metallic cap and typically don't sit under the dryer.... even when I pre poo I put a cap for 15 minutes before I hit the shower.

Depends on the product.

I prefer Ouidad Melt Down mask without a cap.
