Should I deep condition before or after putting in Sebastian's Cellophanes in clear?
I've used it twice so far and not gotten any shiny results at all, but I also deep conditioned before putting it in, could that be the mistake?

Hi!

I'm going to do a Colourshine this weekend too. I PM'd Tracy asking her about deep conditioning when using this product, and she said that you may want to hold off on deep conditioning with heat at least for the first few washes afterwards, cuz that might make it come out of your hair faster.

I'm not sure if the same goes for just letting conditioner sit in your hair for a long time (w/o heat) or not. Hopefully she will see this post & respond.

Are you talking about doing a deep condition RIGHT before putting the Colourshines on????

Hi Lindy,

Yup, I'm talking about a deep condition right before. The two times I've used it, I've deep conditioned with either Keracare's humecto conditioner or Nexxus keraphix with heat and then rinse out and applied the sebastian.

Oh, ok. I wasn't aware that you're supposed to put it on wet hair. I guess I need to go & do a search on Colourshines to find out the correct procedure for applying it, BEFORE I start, huh???

I just did a search and Tracy did say to deep condition the hair BEFORE applying the Colorshines. So that can't be the reason your hair didn't come out shiny...

I heard you can apply the deep conditioner w/the Colorshines. But check with Tracy
