-Darcy's Botanicals Coconut Cupuacu Butter Pomade..This is my new "IT" grease. Love the smell, love the consistency and it gives shine. I can put it on my scalp and hair.

-Darcy's Botanicals Organic Coconut and Aloe Moisture Pudding..I'm relaxed and used this on my ends to rollerset. Before placing the roller on my hair, i take a dab of this pudding on my ends. My rollersets don't come out frizzy, the curls last WAY longer and ends look more moisturized.

I'm curious to see how this will hold up in the spring/summer when the humidity kicks in but for right now, rollersets are nice! Does provide good hold but not crunchy at all. Rollersets DO NOT DROP when I use this.

-Mizani Fulfyl Conditioner..This is about to take over as my favorite conditioner. Softens, detangles, smells good. I need to upgrade to the liter size. It's so thick that I have to cut the bottle open to get it ALL out though.

-Mizani Milk Bath Shampoo..I like this as its not as harsh as other shampoos yet gets my hair/scalp clean. Smells good too and hair doesn't feel stripped.

-Darcy's Botanicals Winter Spice Hair/Body Oil..She put this in a recent order as a sample and I love it. It smells SO good. I dab it all through my hair in the morning for shine and smell.

MISS:

-Darcy's Botanicals Eucalyptus Mint Conditioning Butter..Way too liquidy for me to use on my scalp and smelled too minty for my taste.

-Shescentit Green Grape Leave-in...This will be the last time I go for spray bottle leave-ins. Did nothing for my hair. Felt like I was just spraying water on my hair. I needed something with more weight.

Hit:
Redken cleansing cream
L'occitane healthy hair mask
Curls Junkie leave-in
More Naked conditioners! --->Gosh they can never do wrong! Loves this stuff!
Kinky curly gloss pomade

Miss:
Roux porosity control. I'm still recovering from this disaster :nono:

I think I've been fairly good this month :look:

I'm so happy this got bumped bc I have a few hits I need to report on.

Taliah W Protective Mist Bodifier--Love the smell. Love the consistency. Keeps my hair moisturized all day. I also like to baggy with this.

Denman brush--I had been scared of this for so long but it has made a huge difference with my hair.

Detangling out of the shower--I seem to have more patience this way. For some reason I rush & get frustrated in the shower.

Peaceloveandsunshine whipped shea butter is the ish!!!!!

Apron--should have bought one a loooooooong time ago

Hit: Adding Coconut Oil & EVOO to DC (extra soft, moisturized, shiny hair)
Keeping my hair in twists for length retention
Hairveda Wipped Gelly- kept my WNG fresh for 2-3days with minimal work

Miss: Giovanni Tea Tree Condish- didn't like the consistency and had to use a lot for my hair ( I don't have as much as when I was relaxed and I had to use way more)

hit:
baba de caracol deep conditioner... provides moisture and strength, rinses clean. My hair was full of body the entire week! i give it a 7.5/8 of 10 overall. Its not as detangling as i would like but i'll definitely keep it around for those days when i dont feel like using silk elements conditioner.

miss:
HE ltr, hair feels silky and moist when i use it but something in the formula irritates my scalp. Plus ive noticed that it may be too heavy to be used as a daily ponytail styling aid.

Hit:

biggest hit of the year: Sally's Miracle 7 in 1 Leave in :infatuated:
This has made detangling a dream and it smells great :lick:

He ltr conditioner- nice slip and it smells yummy!!!!!!! :lick: :lick:

rollersetting!!!!!!!!

Miss:
hair one olive oil :nono: so disappointing
d3 denman brush

I did not buy anything new...my hit/miss list is from my existing product stockpile.

Hit
Chagrin Valley Olive & Babassu Shampoo Bar (continued hit)
Profectiv Clean 'n Healthy Shampoo (revisited) - I prefer "natural" shampoos such as Jason's Biotin or Chagrin Valley Shampoo bars but this Profectiv isn't bad. It's actually pretty darn good. It's not drying and left my hair super clean without feeling dry & tangled. It's super concentrated so a little goes a long way.
Bronner Brother's Super Grow Hair Grease After washing, got a nice soft, moisturized twist out. Yeah, it has the dreadful mineral oil and petrolatum...but it worked for me. It works as well as Qhemet's Amla Heavy Cream and Leanna's Hair Dressing. BB is easier for me to get my hands on (esp, since I'm currently overseas with the U.S. Military).

Miss
Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Aloe Fix Hair Gel - It's a nice gel but not heavy enough for my hair. It'll work beautifully on someone with a looser texture than mine.
Kinky-Curly Curling Custard (revisit) - Despite the rave reviews and yummy smell, this custard did nothing for me. Also, it will not mix with any non Kinky-Curly product.
Kinky-Curly Knot Today (revisit) The ingredients are fantastic but it's not moisturizing enough for my hair.

I'll have to get some Leanna's Hair Dressing and Bronners Brother Super Grow Hair Grease. I always wanted to order the Qhemet's Amla Heavy Cream, but I didn't want to pay the price.

Also, I'll start thinking about the clean and healthy shampoo by Profectiv.

Hit: Silk Elements Cholesterol Conditioner (another permanent staple from Silk Elements)
