Okay I got a sew in weave yesterday paid $125 and I am so tired of it being in my face. It is itching and I just want to wash my hair. I am so mad right now!!!!!!

I will not get a weave again.:look:

It will be okay. It is probably itching from being braided tight or the thread pulled tightly. Did you clean your scalp thoroughly prior to your install?

Hang in there for $125!

Hang in there. I thought maybe after getting braids I was allergic to the hair. It made my scalp, shoulders and back itch. I ended up wearing it up for three months to get my monies worth.

You can do it! $125!

It would get better but why can't you wash your hair?

If it were me, I woulddah taken that dang weave out if I were having a bad reaction to whatever the tracks are treated with or if it's too tight. I don't pay money to suffer! Having a major case of the itchies is counter-productive!

if it'll make y feel better go ahead and wash the weave but dont take it out! I've done it quite a few times with no ill effects

I used to get the weave itches too. It turns out it's the chemical(s) used to treat the hair. Ladies who wear weaves, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, watch and condition the weave (including the extra hair used to make your tracks firmer - if you use additional hair that is). Once I started doing this, my itches stopped. Plus I was my weave at least once a week.
