Dax Hair Oil

I just wanna know...is this oil safe for my hair? I really don't wanna put anything damaging in my hair

Are you referring to the pomade? Ah, the memories of childhood, LOL!

I don't like to use this as it contains petroleum. If you're after a pomade, try Organic Roots Jojoba Oil, it has a similar consistency but no petroleum.

ROTFL you took the words right out of my mouth. I looove the smell. It totally reminds me of childhood. My mom used to put it in our hair. It used to make my sisters beautiful type 3 hair (where's the jealousy graemlin?) so pretty and shiny! Well that's before petroleum was evil. Heck I'd buy some just to smell it! Yes, I am strange and need help.

Oh and on the lid for the jar there was a picture of a pretty black woman with long beatiful hair. Do y'all remember that? LOL...<sigh> oh childhood....it was all so simple then...

Oh, I should add that I don't see a problem with it...a lot of the ladies here are doing a vaseline challenge which is basically just petroleum anyway. Just oil your ends with it. Definitely not your new growth and scalp. Check out the vaseline challenge thread.
