What stylers do you like from this line?

was curious about this brand as well! i just received my coconut and lemongrass transitioning cream this morning and already applied it on my hair.
so far so good, it has significantly softened my hair and not greasy at all.

hope this help!

I was just checking out this line. Perhaps an early b-day gift is an order. I"m curious to know what others think of it.

I just received the leave in and transitioning creme earlier this week. No review on the leave in yet, but I am loving the transitioning creme. I love that it's glycerin free, kinda resembles Kinky Curly Knot Today but without that tacky residue.

I use the transitioning creme as my leave-in and I really like it. The Vanilla Madagascar cream is good too for twist-outs.

Love the Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning Hair Cream, the Peach Kernel Hair Milk and the Tucuma Hair Butter.

This is my newfound love :infatuated:

Admittedly, I'm a PJ, but that just means that I have a lot to compare it to :)

I have the Daily Leave-In, and it's my new staple. It's the best leave-in I've ever used. It's more moisturizing than KCKT, and it's a nice consistency. I have the vanilla, which is my favorite scent of all time.

Also have the Madagascar vanilla styling cream. I use it on all of my kids, as well as my 2nd, 3rd, 4th (etc.) day hair. It's kind of like a moisturizer and an oil in one. Would be good for sealing. Very very thick.

Last, I have the Coconut and hibiscus oil. I love it. Nice scent too.

My routine of late has been wash (or co-wash) apply Darcy daily leave-in, Darcy Coconut & Hibiscus oil, and seal with Oyin Burnt Sugar, twist it up for a twistout, and my hair stays moisturized for an entire week. (I retouch the ends every night with shea butter for extra tlc).

I plan on trying pretty much everything from this line. It really agrees with my hair and I love it for my kiddies too.

Another vote for the Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning Hair Cream... love that stuff. I want to try the daily leave in as well.

And Don't Sleep on the Cherry Kernel Hair Oil. Best Smelling Oil EVER!:lick:

I also hear....the Winter Spice Oil is also very, very good.

I love darcy's and so does my SO and sister. I have the Madagascar vanilla styling creme, the coconut cupuacu butter, the coconut pomade, the curl detangling milk and the curling creme gel. I'd like to try the coiling jelly and the curling leave in. The best smelling thing is definitely the curling gel.
Everything I have, I love. They do their job well and mine, my sister's and my SO's hair have never been softer.

I like the

curling creme gel - nice for twists and twistouts
avocado and honey twisting creme - also nice for twists and twistouts
coconut lemograss transitioning creme is nice too

also want to try the

Madagascar vanilla styling cream
coconut cupuacu butter

I've used the Peach kernel hydrating milk and Shea butter curl moisturizing cream. I like them both.

I have the coconut cupuacu pomade, and if I had to choose between that and Oyin's burnt sugar pomade,I'd choose the Darcy's. I absolutely love Oyin,so that's saying a lot. It was so hard for me to admit to myself that I preferred the Darcy's pomade.. I still have, and will keep the Bsp in rotation though.

yay- thanks to a 20% discount code (spring20) w/curlmart, I bought the madagascar vanilla creme and the curling jelly AND Curlmart is in my city, so I can pick it up and avoid shipping

I can't decide which product to buy, they all look so good

  1. Daily Leave-In Conditioner
  2. Natural Coils Curling Jelly
  3. Juicy Peach Kernel Nectar
  4. Organic Coconut Butter Styling Pomade
...anyone NOT recommend any of these?

Verdict:

Daily Leave in- may be my new staple:lick:. I don't even know what to say- I get moist coils and definition w/ just the leave in and juicy peach kernel nectar. I've been through alot of leave-ins, but this one takes the cake. Makes everything nice and shiny too. Not sure if I'll be re-upping the kernel nectar- not 100% in love with the smell and I think any oil will do in its place.

Natural coils jelly- :nono: Made my hair crunchy and dull looking, even with a very small amount. I love the smell- sorta lemony. I'm going to play around with it, see what I can mix it with to make it work more to my liking- might mix with w/that ecostyler gel I can't stand:lol:.

Got the Madagascar vanilla styling cream instead of the coconut butter:yep:- I'm in love with this one too, but it makes my hair dull looking if I use it alone.

I tried mixing and matching with Shea Moisture products and I think Darcy's works better by itself. I'm not completely sold on SM, but definitely repurchasing Darcy's.

Okay cancel everything I said lol - all the products are a keeper! Ive gotten 2 random compliments on my hair thus far & Im on day 2 of an amazing wash & go. The key is to only use darcy- no mixing. I layer the leave-in/ styling cream/ jelly/ nectar. A nickel size of each on clarified, detangled hair & everything went POP! Im a convert:)

Can anyone suggest how to mask the smell of the transitioning cream. I havent opened it since i bought it cuz im deathly annoyed at the scent. How do u deal with it

It feels really good quality, I tried the curl styling creme and my hair even hates butters. It worked on both dry or wet hair. Never greasy, yet extremely moisturizing and smoothing even in small quantities (my hair usually needs big quantities). They could have simply whipped some stuff, instead it looks very well made. It is full of good ingredients and the performance is perfect, I cannot imagine being able to replicate it, it is not just a whipped butter but a great styler, moisturizer, hair perfume all in one. I can braid my hair with it overnight and my hair benefits from it. Last but not least, usually butters make my hair dull. This one makes my hair shiny. But above all, I have never seen a non greasy butter before (although I am not a regular user of butters).

Almost 1 year later, DB Transitioning creme is my STAPLE moisturizer. The only product that could possibly replace it is the cocoa smoothing cream sample she sent with my latest order, i love that stuff too. I recently purchased the pumpkin conditioner and lavender shampoo bar and will be trying those during my next wash.
