I never seen someone with very short hair get a BKT before!!! I mean I thought you needed some length all the way around to avoid getting it on your scalp/skin by all means?

Well anyways this girl has a shaved back/nape or some damage (can't tell) and they BKT'd less than 1/2" of hair in the back and sides.perplexed Them some bad chicks at the Dominican Hair Salon they were not playing! lol At the end it did look very nice!

It was already damaged prior to her beginning the process. Then she used that rattail comb on her head....! A mess. Her hair was broken off.. the color was horrible... oh my!

Then she blow torched.. I mean blowdryed her hair with the dryer set on HELL!!!!

Then followed up with a hot arse flat iron...

Well, if she was looking for a fried hairdo..she got it....!

Wow. I think I felt the heat on MY scalp when I saw this :burning:. My hair used to look like the young lady's hair in this video. My ex-hair dresser used same the amount of heat and now I can see why my hair stayed that same length for so long.:heated: Looking back, I wish I would have BC'd instead of trying to hold on to the damaged ends for so long.

The end result was very nice
I think she must have shaved the hair in the nape area at some point and maybe that's why it looks so weird.

BTW for those cringing at all the heat, that's what a Dominican blowout is. Reminds me of why I do my own hair now LOL

i saw the same video as you...and it was not good. the last thing she needed was bkt on her hair. at the end her hair looked lifeless, gummy and stiff.

do you really need that much heat for bkt? the blow dryer looked painful. I can't recall ever seeing that much steam coming from a blow dryer. The client was a trooper though. I cringed the entire time.
