Yesterday (monday), I had the brilliant idea of fixing what wasn't even broken. I decided to do Aph. 2 min reconstructor after previously doing a light protien the day before (sunday). And of course my hair broke off. It was easy to comb through it in the beginning, but then as i moved to the back of my hair, it just felt hard (It was def. my fault cause i left it in for too long (2 hours - i was housecleaning, ok?) and my hair is already a bit finicky with the 2 min. recon.
I would like to be able to do this at least a week before i relax, because it really does strengthen the hair, but this little mistake i did - just out of randomness - is really bugging me. But i do now know what i shouldn't do, so i guess i learned from it. But i just wanted to vent. I just really really really hope that it didn't mess up the 1.5 i was hoping to get from this summer. Oh well, since im a neck length newbie, and i have already mastered my regiment through trial and error, is suppose that my REAL hair care will OFFICIALLY begin after my relaxer this very thursday. Okay, I'm ready. Sorry, for the short novel.
BTW, im pretty much just gonna wrap my hair in a doorag and not even look at it until relaxer day in two days.
