I bought a new dryer a few days ago. I got it on Wednesday. I used it yesterday and I couldn't fit under it. I even had to switch to my grey rollers and I still didn't fit. I finally had to switch to my old dryer and I was cramped as hell.

The question is: Can I return it to Sallys even though nothing is wrong with it? I want to get my money back so I can save up for the $300 dryer. I still have the receipt, but I feel bad when I buy something and it works. I really need to return it. That will leave my saving to only 200 so odd dollars.

I say return it. I had a similar episode when I upped my roller size to find that I could not fit under my dryer. On another note, my dryer is 5 years old so I cant return it. *lol* Needless to say I just lost $10 on the rollers :(

Skee, I'm sorry about the dryer not fitting. I was going through that with my old dryer (which I donated to my momma, even though I KNOW she will never use it).

Which dryer are you going to get? I picked mine up on Tuesday the hood looks HUGE, but I won't know for sure until I try getting underneath with rollers. I found out that Pibbs doesn't make that model anymore; but they still get it and it costs $495

I guess I got a good deal, but it looks like it may have been used as a floor model, which was not disclosed to me.

I don't know yet Webby, I think I'm going to the place in Queens that CH got her dryer. That way I can do a test and bring in some rollers. But I can't get it until July or August because right now that's not on my budget.

skegeesmb which dryer did you get from Sally's? Webby, did I hear you right. The Pibbs 514 is no longer manufactured?????

I bought my ConAir dryer before I read the pibbs thread. I would have cancelled the order but it was already on the way and they charge a 20 reshipping fee.

No, Honi...they still make the 514. It's the 518 - Superaria that they don't make anymore, but they can still get them from Parlux (in Italy), the new maker. I still can't believe how much it costs. That thing better run like a 747 for as much as they want.
