where have you been with that hair??? I could not help shouting you out..

Girl you better tell me what you do to get that much growth?

OOHHH......no you didn't....Thanks girl but I have been doing nothing but MTG-ing....I am in braids now so I MTG every night and put my bonnet on and spray in the morning with whatever I grab either surge or HTwo or botanical oil whatever is closer I plan on wearing braids until January but I think I will be wearing it down for b-day which is at the end of November. Before the braids I really wasn't doing anything special going to get it rollerset and blow-out every 2 weeks and using MTG every day the second week. I have vitamins but I haven't taken them in awhile actually I need to find them.

ANYWAYS if I can help you out with anything let me know........and thanks....

Thanks I haven't been doing anything special but if I didn't come to this board I don't think I would have ever made it this far. This is the longest my hair has ever been and it feels GOOD.

You have been applying it directly to your scalp? It makes it sense. I just want to make sure...

I thought thats the only way to apply it, thats how I apply mine, so far so good.

Yeah that is how I apply it direclty to the scalp. You went last friday what time my best friend was there around 3 something. So you did like it I told you would.

Your hair is beautiful! How do you get it to be so shiny?

Girl get out of here with your long pretty hair. My hair has always been thick but with MTG it is ridicolous my hair holds no relaxer now that is why I am in braids. To answer you question sometimes it is very shiny and other times it is dry when I get it done I don't put anything on it for shine and you know Dominicans don't use all those greasy products.

Carmelty,
How many weeks do you stretch, or have you stretched since using MTG?

Naijaqueen, I know it makes sense. I guess I am amazed at all the growth.

Carmelty, you have truly inspired me just a few weeks ago I was going to give up. I am motivated again. I am also trying to stretch to xmas.

I was trying to strecth but that didn't work after like 4-5 weeks my hair was thick and nappy so I went into braids. I just found a tackle store that is 10 minutes away from me and they close at 9 and the 32 oz. bottle is only 14 bucks. I am glad I didn't place that order I am headed there straight after work b/c I am working with my last.

yeah know I have cornrows to the back I had them start off with my hair and add the weave in as they go and I have been applying the MTG directly to the scalp I am going to hold on to these for 2 more weeks I was trying to do 5 weeks but that might be impossible it is going on 2 weeks now.

yeah i just go mine done on saturday but mine might be looking this way also because ive been cowashing with the stocking cap daily and washing once a week(doing Den1's modified method of Robin Woods)...but i think yesterday they were fine but today its looking rugged...it looks like ive had them in for more than two weeks...im trying to decide on rather im just going to take them out do the scarf thing for awhile and then go and put a relaxer in...i was really trying to go without getting a relaxer for about a year until my hair got to a good length...unless i go back and get individuals thats going to be the only way i'll probably be able to make it because i dont think the cornrows are going to work for me...and that way with individuals i can go back to doing the washing once a week...and of course using the MTG...i'll probably be ordering more come next month...i ordered the trial size the first time...but anyway this is about you and your beautiful head of hair...keep up the good work...and please add more pics to make us hate you even more lol :)

Carmelty girl your hair is really growing fast, thick and beautiful.

Beautiful hair! No truer words have EVER been spoken.... I shudder to think that I could have missed this board and STILL been at the length I was thinking it was hopeless....

I know right, if i hadnt discovered here, I'd have still been doing the cycle of cut, flat iron, cut, wash every 2-3weeks, breakage, breakage, breakage. Now I'm 9 weeks post, and not even experiencing breakage!! Y'all are great!
