Well a very faint one. The BF pointed out yesterday, and what do you know /images/graemlins/swearing.gif the hair on my upper lip has darkened /images/graemlins/swearing.gif At least I know Biotin is working for me /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

i take biotin too. I noticed some rapid growth on my hair but i noticwd that my legs are always stubbly!!! I shave and usually i dont have stubble for a day or too but now it seems to stubble after a few hrs!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your mustache. /images/graemlins/frown.gif I've often wondered if products like Biotin would cause hair growth in other areas. I'll just stick to my new tingly Nexxus Vitatress Biotin creme. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
How much biotin do you guys take? I take one 300mg or is it mcg tablet per day. Judging by the poster's problem, I don't think i should increase! Maybe I should get my hubby to take it. He wants a ghotee (sp?) soooo bad!

Sorry Denali! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif I don't think I have any negative side effects from Biotin but I'm gonna do a real good check this evening when I get home. I've been taking it since Jan and recently upped my dosage to 5mg. In the beginning I broke out a little but that was it.
 
OK!! Some people are saying 5 mg and some are saying 1500 mg. Are you confusing mg with mcg? If not, why is there such a big difference in dosages?!

Well I know I would break out horribly if I tried 5 mgs. I think some people can handle higher dosages better than others. Some members even take 12000 mgs a day
 
I think Denali means 1500 mcg. The most I've heard of on this forum is 12 mg which is 12,000 mcg. Freeda Biotin's highest, I think, is 10mg (10,000 mcg).

No Im keeping it. It is VERY faint, no one could possibly notice it unless they were all in my grill.

Does your lip appear lighter after waxing? I have seen some women with their top lip lighter than the rest of their face, making it so obvious that they get lip waxed. I kinda think my mustache is cute /images/graemlins/perplexed.gif /images/graemlins/rofl.gif

I had my non-fian. taking biotin and he stopped because he said he kept getting "wolfman face" and had to shave more often.

Look on the bright side at least you have an excuse! /images/graemlins/rofl.gif
 
My hubby needs to take it too! Po' thing, he shaved off all his facial hair with the hopes of it thickening. Yeah right! LOL. I am telling him to get some BIOTIN!
