Daily moisturizer - water or oil based???

Hey Ladies

I want to start moisturizing daily, but I'm wondering if I should use a water-based or oil-based moisturizer. I like my oil moisturizer best, but I'm interested to know what you all think . . . .

Usually water, but lately I've been using oil-based ones. I guess I could go either way depending on the product.

How would an oil based moisturizer actually moisturize? Oil is more for sealing, right? I've been on here awhile but I don't know much a/b the difference between the 2 types of moisturizers.

ur right: ur better off using a water-based moisturizer: cuz waters a moisture anyway: oil isn't: its just gonna weigh ur hair down and collect dirt faster. ~HTH

I use both ..

I use oil based for the first 2 days after washing because sometimes water based ones revery my hair in places that I am underprocessed. I use water based for the rest of the time
