Have any of you tried Fantasia's IC Hair Polisher? If so would you recommend this as a good moisturizer for the hair? I've been using it for about a month of and on and I love the shine it gives my hair and its water based and EXTREMLY light on the hair. I want to keep my ends soft and STILL wear my hair down.

Tips and advice needed...

It says its moisturizes your hair as well as add shine.

I have a small bottle which says IC Hair Polisher ....

Ive been using Castor Oil strictly on my ends but its been weighing my hair down extremly so I was looking for other alternatives....

back to the drawing board.

I never understood why their products say that they moisturize. I do LOVE the Olive Oil one, but I cannot see it being moisturizing at all - it is full of cones. Saying that they moisturize is so misleading. I emailed then once asking which ingredients are the moisturing onces and they shut me up with a pack of sample!

Have you ever tried using a light leave-in cream like Loreal Smooth Intense or something like that.

If you would like something that shines AND moisturizes, try Oyin's Shine and Define Styling Serum. It doesn't have any cones, but it's great at adding shine. I ordered mine from curlmart.com.

LOL! Thank you for telling me this. I'm new to all of this so I learn by error unfortunately. But Im reading the back of it now and I quote:
" Restores life and luster to dull, dry, overstressed hair. Fills, seals, resurfaces and smoothes hair's surface, preventing hair breakage. Moisturizes and repairs broken, split ends caused by chemicals and heat abuse. Leaves hair with a silky, shiny finish."

But now Im JUST NOW reading the ingrediants and I dont see anything to moisturize either. **SIGH**

TSU: Im going to look for that tomorrow..thank you

Read the ingredients. Fantasia's hair polishers are mostly silicones (dimethicone, cetylethylcone) which means they actually seal the hair folices and prevent the hair shaft from absorbing anything. That's why your hair has that slick feeling to it when you use the cones - it's the cones coating the ends of your hair.

Be careful because cones with no moisture underneath - your hair will feel great, but it'll still be dry. You may want to add a leave in to your hair BEFORE adding the cones to your head, that way you can get some moisture in there and still have that silky smooth feeling.

THANK YOU!!! I'll go back to the ORS Olive Oil Sheen and Castor Oil and then follow TSU's advice with the new purchase.
