cystene treatment

Has anyone ever seen or used this? It sounds very interesting, especially if you are dealing with breakage or shedding. Actually the cystene part caught my eye? Any thoughts?

I have used this product before and you have to use a small amount. It can make the hair feel hard. I had to follow it up with regular conditioner.

Ive never tried it, but if I ever saw it I'd probably buy it. Cysteine is essential for strong & healthy hair (cysteine bonds are the strongest bonds in the hair), so there is no doubt in my mind that it does what it says it will.

I was thinking the same thing.

I tried it earlier this month along with the Nexxus VitaTress Biotin shampoo and my hair was very hard and in a tangled mess.
I had to follow up with Kendra immediately.
The shampoo was very drying and my hair felt kind of rough even before applying the cystine treatment which caused tangles I may have used too much.

Most of all of AO conditioners contain cystine and cysteine in them without making the hair hard. It's part of what makes GPB so effective. Aubrey Hampton effectively mixes these proteins with fatty acids, other herbals, and carrier/essential oils....

I did not like this product. It was drying to the hair and I really did not see any real benefits from it. I eventually gave it away for this reason. I personally would not buy it again, but that does not mean that you won't like it.

I will check out the AO line as well. It seems like the consensus here is that it makes the hair uncomfortably hard.

I tried it and it tangled my hair like you would not believe. I didn't use it long enough to notice any benefits.
