I like your rope braid, Self-styled.

Yes I found this you tube channel when I was looking for braided hairstyles. I have discovered I am not a wig/weave/braid extensions kind of girl. But I can feel happy rocking a nice french braid or two!

Thanks LR:grin:- I love french braids too. Such a nice classic style right?

Not a bad idea, but IMO I think it'd look better with shorter hair so the knots are not sticking out as much. Also, I think instead of using elastics, bobbypins or scrunchies might be gentler on the ends which are the weakest part of hair. Lastly, I think more buns would give an even better, more complicated looking do.

Thanks for sharing.

Those videos remind me of my childhood when my momma use to do a different cute hairstyle everyday, on me and my sister.

Wow, those styles that woman posts are ALL adorable. And her daughter is also adorable. I actually think the Rosette buns are cute. If I had longer hair I might try it as a different updo for work....I'm not sure how it'd look on an adult, though.

I got nostalgic too, Cuteness!:yep: Especially when she was handing her mother the rubber bands and holding her hair out of her mom's way. Too cute!

Also, I wonder what this looks like once it's taken down? A bantu-knot out on just the ends? Hmmm?

I can't wait to get longer hair so that I can do that. Love, love, love her youtube channel. She is definitely worth subscribing too.

It's apparent that she loves being a Mommy to her DD. How sweet, it's a family affair making DD pretty. AWWWWW

That's cute :yep:. Can't wait till I can do styles like these. I would have used bobby pins and pinned them closer to my head, so they wouldn't stick out as much.

I watched this on my phone so I'm not really sure how good it looks, from my view it could be cute...even though I'm not a fan of bantu knots personally. If it was a bantu knot out ponytail that would really be cute too!

I do similar buns on my girls but not multiple ones in one bun (ignore the bobby pin in the back, I tucked it under after I took the picture.

I don't know if I like the style she did but thanks for sharing. I love resources for cute hairdos.
