I bought these yesterday and more today. Don't know what I am doing wrong but I am losing quite a bit of hair, some of it is staying in the curlformer when I remove it. Needless to say I am very unhappy. What am I doing wrong?

You are trying to put too much hair in one section. Use smaller sections

If you feel it pulling, stop and make section smaller. Do not force the rod through.

Yeah, I never quite got them. First off they don't make extra long and extra wide so that sucks, the extra wide/long is not long enough for me. They're also just too much work to put in. But I swear I'd buy them if the had extra wide/extra long because I want to alternate with rollersets.

I bought some extra long and extra wide curlformers knock off from an ebay seller Happycurls, and I couldn't tell any difference with the real one, except from the color of the hook!
