I'm going to try both products together. Might as well.
I didn't think the Shea Moisture product was necessary because they both seem to be for hold, BUT, I'm no hair expert, so take my words at your own risk. I don't mind using five products, as long as I can get a nice, smooth, somewhat stretched curl.

I have so much to learn about products. I didn't know the Shea Moisture was for hold. I just assumed it's what would keep the hair from getting hard--like it'd be for softening/moisture, kinda like coconut oil. :ohwell:

TaraDyan that's so pretty. Please share what your spritz will be made of when you set your hair. I'm so excited that there are more guinea pigs in dis here experiment. :giggle:

I can already tell you that my spritz will be made of:
  • 8 oz. rosewater
  • 8 oz. aloe vera juice
  • 4 oz. of glycerin
  • 15 drops of lavendar oil
  • 30 drops of rosemary oil

That is my regular recipe for my every day spray. I will use it to moisten my hair before I do each curl, and I also plan to use the Jane Carter as the "holding" agent on each curl too. Again, I will perform dis here experiment tomorrow evening and will report back.

:giggle:
