Can this undo a relaxer?

last night my ends were so dry- i just didnt know what to do and as I planned to D/C this morning I had nothing to lose, to I plastered it on and wore a shower cap to bed! my hair loves it , if it wasnt for the grease (and smelll) I would stay like it today- can this damage my relaxer?

im not a hair expert. im here tryna learn just like most of us; but i really do not see why curl activator would damage your relaxer. (because of the slippery greasy feeling i could see why you wouldnt like to keep it in all day. but it wont damage your hair. it will probably end up doing the opposite. because with all the glycerine ect that goes into that stuff it will probably impart much needed moisture for your tresses. hey if your hair likes it- then maybe you could use it all over your head and put your hair up in a bun with some aloe vera gel or something that will hols your edges in place around your hair line. if its up it wont appear so greasy,
if you absolutely cant stand the activator all over, put it on your ends and then bun, this will help your ends retain moisture. whatever you do you should be taking notes on everything, everyone is diff, what your hair likes someone elses might not like, and visa versa, but when you have found a product that works for you you should keep it as long as it isnt causing damage- and you already admitted that your hair loves it........................ you just cant come to my house and sit on my couch, or take a napp any of my sheets :giggle:( just a jokey-joke i couldnt help it).......... remember the solegloed couch on comming to america LOLOLOL:lachen:

If you mean can the activator make your relaxed hair revert back to natural or make it curly, no it won't. In fact lot of ladies (relaxed and natural) on this and other hair boards use Wave Nouveau or S-Curl Activators on their hair for moisture. If your hair likes it, you should keep using it :yep:.

Thank you ladies

TCT- you make me laugh...I certainly dont want to be leaving a trail of grease wherever I go.

well, Ill keep it in the regimen for now. Aloe vera Gel, is it a liquid or pomade?

I'n not seen that- or the mango butter people keep mentioning.
