Have anyone here used this product. If so how effective is it in straightening your hair. Is it drying? Please share your experiences or if you know of anyone else who used it.
Thanks
I would like something natural, but don't know if this is worth it.
Says you have to redo your hair after 6 weeks.

Thanks.

I have alwyas wondered myself, but I don't think too many use it, But from the instructions it sounds like a perm to me, because they say you have to apply it every 6 weeks, use gloves, and if you don't apply it every 6 weeks the effect will wear off. But I have only heard of one person using it from BHM haircare board and she said she likes it, it is just hard to wash out. It might be good, but I don't know, it has been out for several years, if you try it let me know LOL!!!

My texture is okay I guess, I just want to be able to comb my hair without any hangups...Don't know if that makes any sense.
If you have to use gloves, then I guess it's too strong to rinse out in the shower also.:look: They claim it's safe and natural. (any comments on that?)
If it's a harsh chemical, then I might as well use the regular stuff...I just don't want bone straight hair.
I don't know if overlapping is necessary because 6 weeks is quite frequent I think. :look:
I'm hesitant just yet to call the company because I wanted to hear some real testimonials (good or bad) because they are sales people and like anyone else who's in sales, they will tell you what they think you want to hear to purchase their product.
HP

PS. Another thing they say is that it's safe enough to apply over relaxers. I don't have a relaxer, but I just wonder. :perplexed

I know what you mean, I wanted to hear some real comments as well, but I see alot of people ask but not many answers, But they say it is just clay and you mix with water or that rosewater and put a plastic cap on and sit under the dryer, I don't see enough real Testimonies, I know that when some people make a website they can make their own testimonies look real, BUT I haven't heard nothing Bad either. Too bad they don't offer a small sample of it.

Ok. I called the company two days in a row and they haven't responded yet to my phone calls or replied to my emails.
There are salons in California that carry this product according to their list so I call a few and just got recordings like I was calling someone's home in the ghetto...mind you they are a pretty long drive from where I live. I will try a few more though. :ohwell:
Again, I'll try again. I don't like the idea of using chemicals on my hair.

I have used it a bunch of times....I'm natural and its completely safe. No chemicals. It's like henna but without the color. My hair is really thick so I did not see much where it loosened it up. But the say you have to use it for a while before you see the results. It's just a softening of the hair but very subtle.

I read that the instructions which said that a difference should be noticed after 3 treatments.
How long have you used it?
Do you order online?
Are they reliable...you know, quick turnaround and no hassles?
Have you ever got a rep. on the telephone?
I use henna, but it doesn't do all the things this product says it does.
Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.
Thanks

I read some reviews for it online recently and they all pretty much said that it doesn't really loosen your texture. It softens the hair, but you can get that with any good deep conditioner. And that you only really see the results when you straighten your hair. They also said that it's messy and hard to wash out.

True. I'm not looking to get it bone straight. :nono:

I used this stuff for about a year trying to pretend like it was doing something when it wasn't. :nono::nono::nono::nono: It made my hair extremely dry and didn't really relax the curl. I did notice that when I blowdried my hair, it got a tad bit straighter, but it was still really dry. I must say, I used this in my pre LHCF days, so I was not taking care of my hair as well as I am now. However, as a natural, this stuff in my opinion, is useless. If you really want softer, stronger hair and you're willing to go through the work required to apply a paste like this to your hair, then HENNA IS THE WAY TO GO!:grin::grin::grin: I love it.:grin::grin::grin: It conditions, strengthens and softens my hair like nobody's business!:yep::yep::yep::yep:
