Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove any buildup, then put some deep conditioner on your hair cover with a showercap/ shopping bag (or grocery bag in american) and sit under the dryer for 15-30 mins, if u don't have a dryer just leave it on as long as u can, rinse when damp put a leave in conditioner and seal lightly with any oils, your hair should feel better, if still dry try to do this at least once a week....Welcome and hope that helps:grin:

Maybe moisture is your problem!:perplexed Try moisturzing your hair and seal with an oil (jojoba oil, castor oil) is great. If you see that you have split ends (which dryness can cause) do a little dusting(snipping the ends just a bit) then moisture, moisture, moisture! Try bagging for a few days to see if that helps the problem! :drunk:

*** Dont forget the ends are the oldest part of your hair so they need extra moisture and extra care*****

Hope this helps!

Try baggying as well. Use a lightweight water based moisturizing cream then seal with some oil and baggie up the ends. This may work.

You'll defiantely need a very moisture poo and DC, along with moisturizing daily maybe even 2x's a day until you see a difference. Not sure how often you DC but DCing twice a wk. helps alot in the moisture department.

What products have you been using?

Last night I tried bantu knots let air dry and this morning took them down. Didn't look quite right so I tried to comb out and boy oh boy did the breakage begin. My first hair lesson: My hair likes to be left alone. So following your advice

I just finished....

First i pre-pooed w/ UBH deep conditioner for 20 min

Washed out and shampooed w/ CON detangling and Clairifying shampoo mixed.

ORS moisturising DC 20 min under hood dryer.

Washed out and oil rinsed w/ jojoba. (I let it sit while I finshed washing)

Moisturized w/ QP mango butter and let air dry.

Over all my hair feels softer...frizzy but softer and NO BREAKAGE!!!! I'd really like to try castor oil since everyones raving about it. I'm about to baggy now (thanks for the tips ladies) and hopefully that'll solve my ruff ends problem.

Beautifulwideeyes-
I have been using Elasta QP mango butter as a moisturizer is that ok?:perplexed In case not I also have, Neutrogena triple silk moisturizer, S-surl, Infusium23 and some Profectiv products. I have Jojoba oil and tea tree to seal. Incase you haven't noticed I am becoming a PJ:grin:

Shampoo-CON detangling and clairifying. Neutro triple silk (which I think I'll chuck since there's alcohol in it.)

Conditioner-CON reconstructing, UBH deep, ORS deep.

Last Relaxer: Sept.22nd

If there are any suggestions I'm all ears!
