Hey guys,

I'm trying out the technique and the hair I'm using, I dont know if it's too cheap (lol most likely) or what but when I pull apart peices to braid the hair gets so tangly and just messing I don't know what to do! I am sure someone knows what I mean, what am I NOT doing right? Please help. Thanks

Hi,
Ive been on the C&G braid technique since last August and I know what you mean. I tried the hair suggested but it was tangling. I went back to the hair I used to use – Expressions. It was much easier and taking my hair out last night was a breeze.
With the Kanekolan hair it took 3 evening of fighting to detangle my hair from the extention. Last night with my expressions, was easy and the extentions just slipped off once loosened.
Expressions is more expensive but it does the job for me.
Formualte the C&G to suit you. try it exactly the first time then tweak it to suit you. :)

Make sure you pull the hair apart at the bend. Do you know what I am talking about. Another trick is to take some Jam or Gel or some type of moisturizer in the palm of your hands and smooth it down the hair before taking it apart. Also about what size braids are you trying to do?

Ive got to look into the expressions, Thanks.

Caramelty- I am not sure what you meant? I cut it in the middle cause I don't want crazy long braids, is that my mistake? I am going to try the gel thanks.
