Cribs.. What do you guys think about this?

Im home today watching MTV cribs. The show the homes and lifestyles of celebs. I admit I have seen several episodes of cribs. And They feature a great deal of black celebs. They all have rooms and rooms dedicated to cars, toys games, pool and stipper poles. Isnt it amazing not once have I seen one person who says here let me show you my Library or my collection of books. Makes you think doesn't it?

I know for one thing, if I had the money they had and houses they have I'd definitely have a "meditation" room for myself. Everything in it would be of pure serenity including water fall fountains and incense.

to be fair, this is the same for all celebs of every color. none of them are showing the viewers their massive book collection most of them don't even really live in those homes that they own anyway

You are right about not just the black celebs. But a girl wants to see her own featured in a good light.

I completly agree...If I can't download it for free then I will just do with out. I refuse to give them my money so they can live in their mansions while I'm still trying to save for my first house and living in a 2bd cardboard box.

I enjoy Cribs because I like seeing how other people live but what I have always disliked is that most of the homes really don't reflect who the person actually is.

Especially the athletes with their uber big houses. It's like they just have rooms and rooms with stuff placed in them, not many personal touches at all. Just "let's see how much bigger and better I can be than the next guy".

2 of the best episodes I have ever seen were Pam Anderson and Mariah Carey. They actually took the time to really tailor their homes to their personalities. Not just filling rooms with expensive stuff for no reason.

Oh yeah, can't forget the plants. It would have lots of natural light too, I love natural light. I'm feeling the "make over " room. I would call it the Lioness' Den! I would have a Pibbs and a wash bowl modified so I could wash my own hair. Don't know how that would be done, but with $$$ I'm sure someone could design one. My room of beauty would have lots of mirrors too. Now I'm in la la land!

wow,really? DH and i love to read, i have a large bookcase.we actually had to give some books away because it ot too full!!!

Ditto... I liked Kimora's home... well not the gaudy furnishings
but the fact that they had gardens and meditation rooms and

That's what I need to to do. Take the furniture out of my second bedroom and turn it into a beauty room.

Make my guests sleep on an air mattress!
