Have you ladies used American Crew creme before? I have seen it in the stores. It is a jar of shine gel. I am curious if it works well on natural hair.

Is this the stuff that you can find in the Walmart Salons, they come in brown/amber colored containers? If so, I bought the pomade at 30% off and used it on my daughter's edges and I didn't really like it..it was thick and she had not smoothness and it didn't last on her hair at all....she's 4a/b natural.... The cream may be some good though. Also, they say if is for men on the bottle, but who cares... If it is on sale, shoot, buy it girl and use it. Otherwise, it is too expensive for my blood.

My mom swears by this stuff, she LOVES it! Her hair type is 3 a/b.

I've tried it, I didn't care for it, my type is 4 a/b.

Thanks for the feedback. I will probably pass on it since I am 4a/b. My co worker liked it. I think I may stick to my Scurl gel.

Okay, countrygal, the CREW I have is the grooming cream (there's a pic of it in my Dec. album). You inspired me to dig it out. I had fabulous results with it come and take a look below! I smoothed the front down with it and tied it down. It was a welcome break from the gel. Thanks!
