I saw this on a recent post on LHCF and I decided to do research on it. Here is what I found:

http://www.ivillage.co.uk/beauty/skincare/spas/articles/0,,547686_668873,00.html

and

http://www.99bali.com/spa/thestory/asian_health/hair_story.html

I noticed that this is done at a spa, but I want to know if this can be done at home and if it can, what are the ingredients used for this process?

Anyone who knows this please share your insight on this.
Thanks

While I really like the idea of all-natural hair care, I will admit that I am too lazy to do all of the work required for it. I have been drooling over the Aubrey's Organics for just that reason - natural but lacking the extra work and expense.

I LOVE love love love love Phyto products. The Phytonectre is a wonderful protein oil treatment adding both moisture and strength. I like to use it with heat. Phytoneutre is the best shampoo I have ever used in my life. The scent is clean and clear washing the hair of all product buildup without stripping making it dry and hard. I have never used PhytoRhum, though I certainly think I should try it after reading this article. Phytosesame is an incrediably moisturizing conditioner. I've never used PhytoMist because I am over the moon for Phyto7 as a leave in cream.

Phytojoba is a very creamy moisturizing shampoo and now there is phytojoba creme mask which I really MUST buy soon. With braids in my hair and a half jar of Phytokarite, I cannot justify paying $36 for a new conditioner - but come the end of the my current supply, I certainly will.

The thing I have noticed about Phyto products is that the positive effects are cumulative. When I first purchased the products, it felt like nothing special was happening - good but not great. Of course, I'd spent so much money on them, I had to use them because I couldn't afford anything else. By the time I was finished the shampoo/conditioner I'd purchased, my hair was so happy - shiny, strong, and beautiful, no breakage, longer-lasting relaxer, absolutely no reversion - I have been using Phyto ever since. Sometimes, I'll try something else and it feels okay, but my hair knows what it wants - spend more and more on more and more Phyto.

Now, if I could get someone to do the massage, I'd be in heaven.
